Getting Started with GarnishPOS

1. Create Your Account

  • Visit the homepage and click "Start Free Trial"
  • Enter your venue name, full name, email, and password
  • Your account will be created with sample data to help you get started
  • You'll have 30 days of free access to all features

2. Initial Setup

  • Go to Settings to configure your venue details (name, address, VAT rate)
  • Add your staff members with PINs for secure login
  • Set up your menu categories and items
  • Configure payment methods and printers

3. Train Your Staff

  • Show staff how to log in using their PIN
  • Demonstrate taking orders and processing payments
  • Explain how to handle modifications and special requests
  • Practice end-of-day procedures

4. Go Live

  • Test all hardware connections (printers, payment terminals)
  • Process a few test orders to verify everything works
  • Keep support contact information handy
  • Start taking real orders!
